Repair and painting

1. Replacement/repair of electrical and pneumatic cables,
2. Replacement/repair of hydraulic elements,
3. Painting works such as: filling, painting with primer, surface and varnish of all parts, wheels, frame and the trailer itself by spraying
4. Final assembly of all parts,
5. Wrapping a specialized semi-trailer with a graphic or logo selected by the customer,
6. Final cosmetic corrections,
7. Trailer efficiency check,
8. Collection of the trailer by the client.

Reconstruction technology

It is worth paying attention to several specific stages. For example, when it comes to paint treatments, they are performed using the spray method. Plastic elements are covered with structural paint, and polyurethane paint is sprayed on the trailer and frames, previously primed with an epoxy primer.

Sandblasting applies to all elements. In the case of delicate elements, grinding is mainly used. This technique is better because it is less invasive. However, sandblasters are irreplaceable in the case of frames and rims to reveal even the smallest cracks that require repair. Repair is carried out by welding steel or aluminum, as well as by inserting patches or straightening dents.

Inspection and acceptance

What does a possible replacement or regeneration of components look like? Here, POLCAR applies the principle of replacing elements that are at least 30 percent worn. This applies, for example, to seals and all types of hoses and valves. New electrical installations and branded components from the original WABCO SHOP store are also being introduced.
